About us

Where it all began...

As a team of technologists and pricing specialists in award-winning Evolve-IT Consulting Limited, we had built bespoke rebate solutions for seven years, across multiple sectors.

We recognised that there was a gap in the market for an affordable solution that helped decision makers digitise their rebate process within weeks and regain control.

In 2018, the calculation engine IP was transferred to e-bate Limited and a full end-to-end SaaS solution that offers a great user experience was created.

e-bate is highly configurable and can be implemented in as little as 16 weeks.

In 2019 e-bate received funding from Mercia Asset Management to continue product development and client acquisition. We are now looking to disrupt the rebate management software market.

Leanne Bonner-Cooke MBE

Founder and CEO

With a passion for business transformation using innovative software, e-bate Limited was Leanne’s brainchild after seeing the potential for the solution across multiple industries globally.

Prior to launching e-bate, Leanne was founder and CEO for Evolve-IT Consulting Ltd, a software development and consulting business. With a strong and a determined drive for business improvements through technology, Leanne has developed an award-winning business and was awarded an MBE for Services to Women in Business in 2018 as part of the New Year Honours list. With over 20 years’ experience in senior roles in the technology sector, Leanne has also been awarded the title of Businesswoman of the Year, in 2015 and 2017 and has successfully brought business software and services to corporate customers on a global scale.

Leanne lives in Leicestershire with her husband Tom and their two dogs Molly and Lucy. The four of them enjoy long walks in the countryside and holidaying anywhere where there is adventure to be had. Leanne and Tom regularly volunteer as drivers for the Leicestershire and Rutland 4×4 Response unit which operates a support service to the blue light services in times of adverse weather and events.

Colette Wyatt

Co-Founder & COO

Colette has enjoyed a varied career in technology, specifically in IT, Telecoms and Biotech. Colette is passionate about delivering solutions that make the biggest impact and fundamentally improve business results, which is why being involved in e-bate was something she just couldn’t refuse.

Colette is responsible for leading the continued product development and architecture of e-bate with our team and draws on her 28 years of experience leading innovative product and service development.

Living in a village in the Leicestershire countryside, Colette enjoys walking Billy the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with her husband Brian and trips to Italy, Greece and the USA.

Sandy Reid

Investment Director

Sandy joined the Mercia Group in 2017, originally in the North of England Team. She has now moved to the Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) team with responsibility for the East Midlands. This fund focuses on equity investments in early stage opportunities.

Prior to joining Mercia, Sandy had hands-on experience of early-stage companies having founded and worked as CEO of a start-up for eight years. She also has experience of acting as a consultant on spinout formation in the HE sector as well as managing the spinout portfolio at the University of Leicester.

In addition, Sandy has acted as both director and observer on a number of early-stage company boards and holds the Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors. She has a technical background with a PhD in Chemistry and started her career in corporate research and development.

Andrew Pearson

Chair

Andrew is a highly capable, experienced and inspiring leader within entrepreneurial, high growth and rapid change technology companies, from zero to US$200M in scale. He sits on the boards of CloudPay and Maestrano as well as being Chairman of e-bate.

Louise Stovell

Finance Director

Louise qualified with KPMG Bradford, working mainly with SMEs and providing a broad range of services. She made the transition into the commercial sector first joining John Cotton Ltd, a £60m turnover, family owned home textiles business, where she progressed from Divisional Accountant to Group Financial Controller.

Seeking a more hands on role, she then joined a PE-backed commercial printing business as Finance Director and subsequently took responsibility for daily operational management of the business, leading a management team of six.

Relocation to Leicestershire resulted in a move to FD at Harlequin Fabrics and Wallcoverings, a division of Walker Greenbank plc. At this time, the business was loss making and had substantial debts. Louise was part of the team which first turned Harlequin around, before being promoted to FD of the overall Brands’ business. During her time at WG, the share price moved from a low of 6.75p, to a maximum of 238.75p.

Louise’s true passion has always been for SMEs and start ups and helping them to develop and grow. Sheis excited by the opportunities that her new role as part time FD of e-bate presents.
